Zinc Laurate

Zinc Laurate is a white, powdery substance that is non-toxic and slightly soluble in organic solvents. It typically has a melting point of around 120-130°C. Known for its excellent lubricating properties, zinc laurate is widely used as a lubricant and release agent in the processing of plastics, particularly in the production of polyolefins and PVC. It helps improve the flow and mold release characteristics, enhancing the efficiency of manufacturing processes. Additionally, zinc laurate serves as an emulsifying agent in cosmetic formulations and as a stabilizer in various applications, contributing to the overall stability and performance of products.
